The cancelation of three comedies this week showed a glaring weakness at HBO — it's inability to develop great comedies, as it did a decade ago. PLUS: Can "Veep" and "Girls" revive HBO comedy (http://www.theatlanticwire.com/entertainment/2011/12/whither-hbo-comedy/46567/)?

If Im HBO, I would worry more about dramas instead of comedies. But thats just me. The only show I watch on HBO is Curb Your Enthusiasm. I used to watch The Sopranos and even back in the day Arliss.

I dont follow the HBO Series' that much but are they in that much trouble? I mean they have Curb, Broadwalk Empire but there are other popular shows, right?
