I thought this might be fun to hear your opinions based on these character descriptions. Multi-camera sitcom. One rule: the actor cannot currently be a regular on any other TV series that is on the air (even if it's on hiatus). Okay, two rules: The actor has to be alive.

Karen, (40-50) Smart, successful real estate broker. She is the level-headed one in the family.

Nadine, (35-45) Karen's younger sister, she's semi-hippie, relaxed and calm most of the time, but once she feels a little bit of emotion, she's very over the top with it.

Hazel, (65-75) Karen and Nadine's mother. Think Marie Barone, Sophia Petrillo, and Bev Harris (Roseanne) all rolled into one.

Megan, (18-20) Karen's only daughter. Just dropped out of college due to a pregnancy. She's cute with an edge.

Those are the main characters, cast away!

Karen- Teri Polo

Nadine--- Heather Graham

Hazel-----I'm thinking Jean Smart, though she's considerably younger than 65 (she's actually 60 years old)

Megan--- Bailey Hanks would work. She's also slightly older than 20, she's 23.

I have another idea for this thread: What if I had a multi-camera live-action sitcom with a stipulation that the actor must primarily specialise in voice-only rules in animated series with few or no live action roles?
