LUNCH 12-23-2011, 02:19 PM From looking at that schedule I noticed TVLand are now airing some half hour shows(cut down to 17 minutes or less)in 40 minute timeslots now.--TVLand are finished, even Hot In Clevelands ratings are way down. They should just admit, stations like Antenna and Me-TV have basically put them out of business.

Is Hot In Cleveland really doing that bad? It's a shame, I love that show.
LUNCH 12-23-2011, 02:53 PM From what I've read here on sitcomsonline,H.I. Clevelands ratings are MUCH lower than they used to be.And the fact that TVLand/Viacom are not even mentioning it's ratings speaks for itself. If its ratings were good or even fairly good they would be bragging about it,like they used to.
Ronny G 12-23-2011, 05:20 PM This probably has been explained before, but why do they have such crazy starting and ending times??? For example, one show starts at 6:38 instead of 6:30.
Pavan 12-23-2011, 05:23 PM More commercials.

I they aren't what they used to be but I'd imagine that it's still doing well enough for TV Land. They don't have many show going over the million mark at least from the reruns of older shows they air.

I was thinking the same thing. I wish they would start their shows like a normal station.
Pavan 12-23-2011, 08:21 PM Hot in Cleveland is doing fine. It isn't going anywhere. Syndication is next.
retrofan05 12-23-2011, 08:26 PM I like Murder, She Wrote, but it seems like a really bizarre acquisition. It certainly doesn't go with their "Laugh More" slogan. I guess I just assumed they were phasing out the dramas.

Lunch, I dont think Antenna and ME-TV put them out of business. Its TV Land's own fault because if they would have listened to its audience, they would have known that people want to have there shows start on time and none of this off the clock stuff.
As far as Hot In Cleveland's ratings, I think they produced too many episodes already and I think they burnt the show out already. The very fact that its already in syndication tells you. A show is in syndication that early?

It's not in syndie YET. They are prepping it. Won't be until Fall 2013 or 2014.

TVFactFan 12-23-2011, 09:48 PM New Year and same stupid sh*T.
And Murder She Wrote is the DUMBEST acquisition by TV Land since 2000.
James28 12-23-2011, 09:59 PM I like Murder, She Wrote, but it seems like a really bizarre acquisition. It certainly doesn't go with their "Laugh More" slogan. I guess I just assumed they were phasing out the dramas.
You can say the same about Bonanza, which has been on TVLand's schedule for years. They probably added Murder She Wrote just to let viewers take a break from the laughs. It's either that, or TV Land hasn't added any dramas to its schedule for years.
LUNCH 12-25-2011, 12:46 PM Lunch, I dont think Antenna and ME-TV put them out of business. Its TV Land's own fault because if they would have listened to its audience, they would have known that people want to have there shows start on time and none of this off the clock stuff.
That's also true,TVLand basically put themselves out of business. They did not need much help at that, did they.lol.--It's almost funny,TVLand must spend more money to make just one of it's original shows like The Execs(or whatever it's called)than Antenna-TV/Me-TV spend for the rights to air their ENTIRE line-up of shows.
Regulus 12-25-2011, 12:56 PM Tv Land(Fill)'s Message Board is a FARCE! Nearly every other post is SPAM, and the Moderators don't seem to care! :horse:

TV Land message board doesn't need a moderator because it's not that active LOL
ekkostar 12-26-2011, 11:27 PM TV Land is becoming Hallmark and Hallmark is becoming TV Land. Gurl bye...

I know, LOL You just made the funniest post of the year, 5 days before 2012-LOL
Murder She Wrote does seem like a Hallmark acquisition and Bob Newhart seems like a TV Land Acquistion

If they want to add dramas, why don't they add stuff like:
IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT
DALLAS
KNOTS LANDING
the original HAWAII FIVE-O
Bring back CHARLIE'S ANGELS
mets82 01-16-2012, 08:49 PM Btw, I watched the beginning of Murder She Wrote after the Andy Griffith Show today. What a hatchet job on Murder She Wrote!! They actually sped up or cut up the opening credits and I think went to a commerical break like 3 or 4 mins. after it started. You cant take TV Land seriously.

I don't think most people on here will care about MSW being edited-lol
mets82 01-16-2012, 09:22 PM True, but the point is thats just typical TV Land. End credits crunch, way too many commericals etc.
