You're right about that. I recall seeing the tag, which TV Land and syndication have mostly edited out of this episode, providing an update on Gen. Steele, where he got some special recognition or a promotion. Frank said "Ha! And you thought he was crazy!", after which Hawkeye & Trapper agreed with Frank and then went out of the Swamp, singing "Mississippi Mud", which Gen. Steele had sung earlier.
