Greetings everyone!

I'm sure this has been discussed in the past, but I always found it fun to revisit old topics on forums and see how/if opinions change over the years. My friend and I recently watched the episode of "Wings" that featured Frasier and Lilith.

While an enjoyable episode, I personally found the characterization of Frasier in the episode to be a bit "off". He seemed almost too "cartoony", and more concerned with making a quick buck off of "pop psychology" than the well being of those who sought his aide by attending his seminar, Lilith practically needed to twist his arm to get him to refund half of Helen's money. Even on Cheers I don't think Frasier would have behaved in such a way, and I cringed when he said "You people need competent help!" And this is the same man who becomes a revered radio Psychologist who (for the most part) goes out of his way to ensure that he helps his listeners in the best possible way.

Lilith on the other hand, was spot on!

Frasier's episode of Wings has always been one of my favorites on that show. It's one of the things that led me to watching Frasier in the first place. I do love the fact that Frasier is in to "pop psychology," and his group therapy on home video idea seems almost like foreshadowing his future radio career! I do think it's a bit odd how when Joe and Brian (who are brothers) begin to argue, Frasier never mentions having a brother of his own. Of course I know that at the time the writers had no clue about Niles. But it's still strange to hear that today!

Frasier was good on Wings. I haven't seen it in a while though, but it was a good episode! But I doubt if Frasier would want to go back to Nantucket after that!
