Hey, don't get me wrong US is awesome, but England is so kewl i mean come on look at it! British people rock!!!! dawsongirl 01-17-2002, 10:12 PM Definitely California. That's my dream state. I don't think I'd live right in LA, but somewhere on the outskirts. San Diego might be nice too. I'd stay as far away from NY as I could get. (no offense to anyone there, it's just not my cup of tea) But, I'm a midwestern girl at heart, so maybe I'll just stay here, or go to KC. If I lived overseas I would probably like to live in France or Switzerland. Sean Snow 01-17-2002, 10:36 PM Originally posted by Lisa Whelchel Forever Leader of the Banano Family WAIT! Basically known somewhat as the New York Mafia. Joe/Bill Banano, Joe/Rosalie Profaci, Albert Gambino, all them people. Ever heard of them? Mmmm.... Gaspar DiGregorio, Tommy Lucchese, John Morales, Frank Costello. You ever heard of the Famlies? Family leaders, etc? Have I lost you? Meg07945 01-17-2002, 10:56 PM Not California. I don't like it there (sorry to Californians!!) I just....I go there once a year to visit my grandparents...everytime I go it's another CULTURE SHOCK! I live in this little town, some of the roads aren't even paved....then you get out to CA and it's like you have to take a superhighway to go 2 miles...blah! I'll probably stay on the East Coast. I like Long Island alot...not near NYC, though...further East. the south fork, in the Hamptons of something.... or else like upstate NY, I really like it there. I'm used to the East coast, and the culture on the west coast is REALLLY different (for me, anyway) Here, there's more open space. I walk out of my garage and if I don't turn at the curve in the driveway, I run into a stream and then some woods. Well, I got off topic, sue me! ILuvJoandBlair 01-17-2002, 11:41 PM If I had to choose between California and New York I'd stay right here in Caifornia.I like it here, but just not in Los Angeles, so I'd go somewhere up north. If I couldn't go there, then I'd live in Hawii or any of those islands. As for out of the country, I'd like to live in Jamaica, the Carribeans(sp), or somewhere in Europe. Hollow 01-18-2002, 12:21 AM Those are the two places I'm thinking about where to live when I move out. I dunno though! JoPol_wannabe 01-18-2002, 11:39 AM I would like to live in North Western Montana or either in Canada up by lake Louise they say it's very pretty up there. nancysbiggestfan 01-18-2002, 06:18 PM Originally posted by Lisa Whelchel Forever No... I would love to live in either NYC or LA. I live in KY..the boring state, otherwise known. Mijada 01-18-2002, 06:38 PM I like it where I am right now in Michigan because we have all the seasons. California and NY are great places to visit, but I don't think I would want to live there. If I had to choose between the two I would pick New York, not NYC but somewhere upstate. It's good that you just said "Southern California" instead of the whole state, because up north in the Bay Area, it is so darn cold during the winter. Don't get me wrong, it is warm most of the year up here too,(we even had a nice 70 degree day a few weeks ago), but it's been 40 degree days for the three weeks. It's not something we're used to, if you know what I mean...(You guys from the East Coast are probably laughing your asses off right now...). This year it hasn't been that cold at all. 40 is the norm right now. I hope we have a hot, rainy summer. WEll, not really. I just don't want a drought. We had one a couple years ago and we had to water our flowers with stream water and we weren't allowed to wash our cars. :( Mossopp 01-19-2002, 02:29 PM To be honest I don't think that where you live is important as long as you're with the person or people that you wanna be with. Right now all I'm thinking about is getting the hell away from my parents!!!! Ideally, I'd like to stay in Scotland. I wanna visit L.A. but I don't think I could live there permanently. I want a nice house out on the periphery of a town or city - maybe Edinburgh. I'm not bothered as long as I have someone amazing to share my house with. I'm sounding like a total sap, so I'm gonna shut up now... Cokies 01-21-2002, 04:58 AM Originally posted by Lisa Whelchel Forever Well, ::snickers:: yes. I always thought all of CA was warm?? Hmm.... It was 40 there?!? Dang, that's like a MA day Well, yes, all of California is warm, compared to other places. Honestly though, when it was 45 the other day, down in LA, it was a nice plush 73 degrees. That's insane! In January, no less! Actually, we are going through a cold spell right now that's not normal. Usually around this time of the year, day time highs are in the high fifties to the mid sixties. Czas na Zywiec 08-09-2002, 12:57 AM I couldn't live in a place where it doesn't snow. Having Christmas without snow is like having St. Sigmund's day without the headless boy. It's just too depressing. But, I rather go back to the old country (Poland), than live here in America. At least I'd be free there. Kristina 08-09-2002, 01:30 AM I live in Cali and I probably always will. You people have Florida mostly wrong, at least what I went through when I went on vacation, UGH GOD! OK here's the story it's VERY VERY humid in Orlando and very moistury in the air and if you try to wear make-up it's gonna drip all over ur face and then it rains practically every day out of 6 days I went only one day it didn't rain, it goes from humid sunny weather to rainy hurricane storm. I'm so glad I don't live in Florida... ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-09-2002, 01:33 AM Nothing gets better than NYC whenever I go I always HATE coming back home to NH. Someday, Im gonna live there!
