I know some people on here think the 4th season of TLS was bad, but I have to say, Season 5 makes up for it. There are a lot of great episodes in this set. Too bad only 22 episodes were made this season, because it seemed the writing was tighter.

"Lucy and the Ring-A-Ding-Ding", "Lucy and the Law", and guest stars Vivian Vance, Carol Burnett and John Wayne make the season worth the purchase.

Any time you do 24 to 30 shows a year, there are bound to be a few bad episodes in between, but "The Lucy Show" overall is a great series.

Also, the bonus footage of Lucy accepting her Emmy in June 1967 was also worth it.

Don't hate me...BUT...if you want to watch a BAD series...let's talk "Here's Lucy".....that was a disaster!

I agree with you about Here's Lucy, I'm not really fond of that series either. But I enjoy The Lucy Show, I think that is Lucy's best sitcom, even better than I Love Lucy which is overrated in my opinion.

As far as season 5 of The Lucy Show goes, yes too bad there are just 22 episodes, I think there would have been 24 but maybe the hour long Lucy In London special counted for 2 episodes. Just like in season 2, there would have been 30 episodes but the hour long special that season counted for 2 episodes so the season had 28 episodes plus the hour long special.
