Jeri Ryan's 'Seven of Nine' was at the same time one of the most popular "Star Trek" characters and one of the most polarizing among hardcore fans.

Plus, as is evident by anyone who saw her on "Jimmy Kimmel Live", Ryan is a beautiful woman. This is a dangerous combination, as she learned when she picked up a couple of stalkers along the way.





Do "Star Trek" fans still chase you around? Do you still do the conventions?

I couldn't go for a few years because I've had some stalker issues, but now they've beefed up the security so I can attend again. Actually it's really fun.



They've set their phasers to "kill".

(laughs)



Oh wow, you've had "Star Trek" stalkers...

Yeah, there were two actual stalkers...



So now you will go and participate in this sort of thing?

You go there and answer questions, the fans are so loyal and so passionate. Really they're all good people and it's fun to get to interact with them.



Yes, as long as security is around.
