did anyone notice in the first episode they showed, the one where the family was hiring a nanny. one of the ladies interviewed for the nanny job was none other than ma fratelli from the goonies.

then in the episode after it, the one about alex rented out rooms to pay for the damage to the car. the child of one of the family's that rented out a room was none other than the kid who played chunk in the goonies.

Don't forget Martha Plimpton and Corey Feldman were also in The Goonies and Family Ties. Jeff B. Cohen was in 2 episodes. Supposedly, they are making a new Goonies movie with the original cast.

Are they, TJ? Sounds interesting, but I saw a recent pic of the cast reunion....they all look soooo old! And Chunk is thin! That's crazy that so many of the cast ended up on Ties.

Another weird one is that David Faustino and Christina Applegate both did eps., and then ended up as the Bundy kids on Married with Children.

Then Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, and as you mentioned, Corey Feldman all did eps., and all went on to do Stand by Me together.

And of course, Fox and Crispin Glover played buddies on Ties, then did Back to the Future together.

For us non-US visitors, could someone please explain what The Goonies are/were? I have never even heard of it, so it can't be very famous in Europe...

The Goonies is a movie made in the 80's about a group of kids who go on an adventure to find a hidden treasure in order to save their town from developers. It is a great movie!! I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. If you want to know more go to www.thegoonies.com
