Has any one read the books "Karen" and the sequel "With Love From Karen." They are about Marie Killilea's daughter Karen who was born with Cerebral Palsy in 1940, at a time when there was no treatment for it and most parents sent their kids to institutions. Marie and her husband Jimmy raised Karen on their own and with Karen's cerebral palsy doctor's help was able to do her physical therapy at home. Karen is now living independently on her own and has a job.
