Ok, you all know that I am still fairly new to TD. Other than the two epies from this season, I've only seen the last three or so. Clue me in more on Jinny and Teddy. When did they meet? I get the idea that they slept together. Duhhh.. was this like every episode? I know she had her share of hanky panky while sipping on the bottle too. How serious were they? Thanks...I just want to know seeing is how I hear rumors that Teddy will be coming back. Thanks guys!

Yay, I'll answer you I know everything about them. :) I loved them together.

They actually worked together in the fifth episode on a case. It was going to be Theodore's first time infront of a grand jury..etc.. He was working with Jinny for the case which we didn't really get to see, but anyway they had breakfast together and Jinny was making him even more nervous about the whole grand jury thing with this line..

"Ooh first timer,huh? Then you must have already had the dream by now." -Jinny
"W-what dream?"- Teddy
"Oh you know..The one all new ADA's have..packed courtroom, everyone you know is there parents, siblings, friends, professors, you stand up to address the jury...They all start laughing at you!! We're not talking little girly giggles here Theodore we're talking earsplitting humiliation inducing derition."- Jinny
"Why?"- Theodore
"Cause you're buck naked my friend"- Jinny
She joked with him like that, anyway..at the end of the episode he won the case and asked her out saying there was a bottle of champagne with their name on it. She turned him down saying "Some other time" and he took it like them togethere weren't such a good idea and left...

Then in the next episode we see Theodore in is Episode #9 "What sharp Teeth You Have" he was mugged and again Jinny is to work with him to find the guy etc..
"Captain Amazing here decided to defend his wallet and laptop to the death...it didn't work but you got to admire the effort"- Jinny ;)
Anyway that scene continued...and he asks her out...again she turns him down....then in the middle of the ep he's leaving after picking the guy out of a lineup and CD says

"Interesting" - CD
"Not happening"- Jinny
"He's cute" - Angela
"Why don't you go out with him?"- Jinny
"What's wrong? He loves his fellow man, no visible tattoos"- CD (that was something close to the quote i forgot)
"Body art if tastefully done can be very appealing" -Jinny just about the time Jinny said that Theodore walks back in since he forgot his breifcase

...later on in this episode Jinny grabs his arm and he winces...come to find out he got a tattoo for her..

Theodore: "OK,I got a tattoo. Probably the stupidest thing I've ever done..Don't ask me why"
Jinny: "A tattoo? "
Theodore: "Body art if done tastefully can be very appealing"
Jinny: "You did this to impress me? To get me to go out with you?"
Theodore: "Hey, maybe I'm just a wild and umpredictable kind of guy. Why are you impressed?"
Jinny: "A little."
Theodore: "Dinner?"
Jinny: "A drink...one drink"
Theodore: "Deal."

Now that was how they got together for the most part..After work that night they were walking in the parking lot to go to the bar Jinny figured to get a drink...but instead Theodore opened up his breifcase and they had a 'hood picnic' as Jinny called it each having a beer and talking about the tattoo...

Jinny: "So what's your tattoo of?"
Theodore: "Oh I'm not going to tell you. I might show you if the mood is right."
Jinny: "Oh nuh-uh one drink."
Theodore: "Wh-what are you so afriad of? You're afriad I'll break you heart."
Jinny: "Teddy, I would roll over you like Grant took Richmond."
Theodore: "It's a moth."
Jinny: "What?"
Theodore: "My tattoo..it's a Gypsy moth. You impressed?"
He leans down to kiss her and Jinny replies.. "Don't fly too near the flame, Councilor." and they share a soft kiss on the lips and the episode ends...

Next episode Teddy was in Episode #10- Hero... It begins and Jinny has a big bouquet of White Roses on her desk from Theodore (this is supposed to be the next day after there first kiss BTW) and she's talking on the phone with him until Cap comes out of her office and she hangs up..... Later on she is talking to Mag about him..and then at the end Theodore comes and picks Jinny up from her apartment (might I add after she had come home and sorted threw lots of clothes to wear..lol) and they go out to dinner at Anchorside where they have their first dance...Also, Anchorside didn't have a dance floor but Theodore still got Jinny up and they slow danced in the middle of the tables together...At first Jin looked uncomfortable but she soon eased up.. ;)


The next Ep Teddy was in was episode #12- Faces in the Crowd.. This is the episode they first Slept together in and also the episode Jinny was shot at in and a guy was after her to kill her in......haha.. Took Jinny awhile with Theodore because she cared about him like Magda said... Anyway...Theodore came to check on her at work after he heard about the shooting and stuff..

"Apparently he's sleeping at my place tonight."- Jinny
"So tonights the night?"- Magda
"I have no clue. This is totally new territory for me. We've been out four times and...nothing." - Jinny
"Nothing?" -Magda looks surprised
"Well, foolin' around, but you know me I've usually rounded the bases by now.....again."- Jinny
"You really like him, Jinny. You're attracted to him. That's good."- Magda
"I never wanted to be. Yeah, but now I've got somethin' to lose." - Jinny

Anyway it goes on she goes home later that day and well she tries to seduce him, and he doesn't accept saying he wanted it to about them..nothing else...therefore..they wait..and that night when they're in bed together fully clothed and all that good stuff and Jinny laying by him his arm around her...etc.... it continues... and the next day Jinny talks to Magda about Theodore...

"We slept together last night."- Jinny
Magda is like Oooooh.
"Slept...." Jinny replies. "The thing is..I felt closer to him lying there fully clothes than I did with guys..you know."

It goes on and that night the guy comes to Jinny's apartment after Jinny had talked Theodore into going home earlier that day (since she had the whole thing planned to catch the guy and didn't want to put teddy in danger ;)) Anyway that night the guy breaks into the apartment and Jinny and her two brothers we hidden in her bedroom and when the guy came in to shoot at the mound in Jinny's bed she hit him with a crow bar and Casey and John Jr. attacked him..LOL....so they caught the guy and then later that night Theodore comes back after jinny had said they caught the guy so Teddy was waiting for her in her apartment..when she got home..he helped her out of her coat and put his arms around her and held her and he said..

Jinny: Hey
Teddy: Hey, You all right?
Jinny: Yeah I'm fine.
Teddy: I, uh, fixed the window lock. I'm good for something,
Jinny: Sorry, I should have told you someone was here last night.
Teddy: I probably would have freaked out and called a cop.
Jinny: I am a cop.
Teddy: Just tell me one thing. When you saw the broken lock on the window and you knew someone had been there. Why didn't you go after the guy then?
Jinny: He was already gone. I didn't want to scare him off.
Teddy: You wanted him to come back. And you hatched the entire plan in that moment, to lure him back, didn't you?
Jinny: Yeah. Is your male ego indelibly bruised?
Teddy: Let's find out.


Therefore that's pretty self explanitory...lol they slept together..Although they left it with a kissing scene...ta-da...

Next episode he was in was Episode #13- Partners in Crime.. this episode Magda and Jinny first became partners and Teddy got jealous over some dude whispering to Jinny etc...and they had their first fight in this one..which they solved at the end with Jinny saying they'd "Work it out"..and they had a date after that which Jinny was leaving after work to go to....

Next episode Theodore was in was Episode #17- The First Hit's Free, Baby
This one's Jinny Theodore storyline focused around Theodore taking Jinny to his birthday party in this nice restaurant to meet his friends and family... ;) ;) lol... Which for the occasion Jinny bought a dress.... That should tell you how serious they were..LOL

Theodore: "You all set for tomorrow night?"
Jinny: "I have my bullet proof vest polished if that's what you mean. Oh, yes.. Actually...I bought a dress."
Theodore: "You did?"
Jinny: "There is no gaurantee however that I'm going to wear it."
Theodore: "So uh, I don't know...what else did you buy?"
Jinny: "How do you know I bought you anything for your birthday? I maybe planning on knitting you a sweater...or give you something much more organic."
Theodore: "Well you do give good organic."
Jinny: "Listen, actually, I have an idea. Ok,Why don't you just go and meet your parents and your friends...I don't know any of them anyway."
Theodore: "They're going to love you." (he said it so sweet too..:))
Jinny: "Just..hear me out..ok? Just, go and have dinner with them and after that you know..come to my place."
Theodore: "I'm going to pick you up and six sharp." Theodore kisses her. "Say what does this dress look like anyway?"
Jinny: "Oh yeah, okay...Low cut..skin tight,animal print, ruffle at the bottom..Don't you have lawyering to do?"

Anyway...Yes, Jinny does end up going..but he leaves her near the champagne and well..she asks his dad for something more stronger..etc..and well..she gets drunk and embarasses Theodore with telling his parents some of the more gross homicide/ abusive cases she's on OVER dinner.....Given they did ask what she kind of cases she was on,but she was drunk so she was more honest..and then she stands up and storms out of the restaurant.....the next day she and Teddy have a fight in the parking lot that hurts both of them.....that night after work she's sitting in her apartment in the dark crying...and Theodore knocks on the door...well she lets him in and it goes through this deep kissing scene that they take to the bedroom very quickly without breaking the kissing pattern... ;) It was a nice scene..I'm sure I'm not giving it any justice..anyhow...it ends with Theodore sitting down on the bed and laying on his back Jinny crawling ontop of him and letting her body down ontop of his continueing the kiss and the screen fades out...into another scene...Therefore..lol..they made up..haha To say the least.

Next episode...also the last Episode he was in in the First season # 19 -Redemption
This episode..he tells her he loves her in the hallway and they should go away for the weekend to sort everything out. Jinny thinks about it throughout the episode and by the end of the day she had convinced herself it was a good idea to go away for the weekend and talk...as much as it did scare the hell of her.. So after deciding this she calls Theodore a couple times and can't get ahold of him..when she's going out to take a TV and VCR to someone that had gotten them stolen from them she runs into Teddy in the parkinglot and he tells her that something came up that could bring him up to second chair... Jinny took it as if he was blowing her off..etc and the scene ended with her crying...and after work she got drunk in the bar..still crying...and well..kissed some dude in the corner where Theodore came in and saw them...instead of saying anything..he looks at them and leaves ...

Taking all that.... They were very serious, and it's my hopes that they get back together this Season. I really really hope so. They're the best ever!!

Okay I agree with you 100%. I also thought you would like to know that the chemistry that Nancy and Jay share on screen is amazing. I haven't seen anything like it for a long time. I don't know how old you are Eva but do you remember the Luke and Laura era? Well if you do then you know the chemistry those two had. Well it is my thought (since I watched the Luke and Laura era) that they chemistry that Nancy and Jay share on screen matches that of (Anthony Geary and Genie Francis). Just so you know. I also want Teddy and Jinny back together. IMO they are the best couple the show has to offer. Nothing against the others. Just I personally think Jinny and Teddy are more believable and that is due to the awesome acting skills of Nancy McKeon and Jay Harrington. Okay I am done and added my two cents.

hehe, K, lemme try and give ya the whole thing, and everyone, fill parts in that I miss, k? K. ;)

Jinny met Teddy first in the episode There But For Fortune where he worked on a case with her, as he's an assistant district attorney (ADA). We next saw him in the episode What Sharp Teeth You Have where he was at the Division reporting that he had had his laptop and other things stolen from him and he had also gotten beaten up a little. He alludes to the fact that he's asked her out several times, but each time she has refused. Cause he's a really nice, preppy, suit and tie, clean shaven, loves his fellow man, calls his mommy every Sunday kinda guy, not her type, so she thinks...so at the end of that eppy, she agrees to go out with him for one drink, so they go and we see them kiss at the very end. So that starts them dating...uhhh, next big ep was Faces in the Crowd, cause he stays with her at her apartment while she has this nutcase stalking and wanting to kill her, and he's worried, etc...so we see that they are becoming closer and closer, and we get the impression at the end of the episode that they sleep together for the first time...K, moving on, next big ep with him was The First Hit's Free Baby, Teddy invites her to his birthday party with his parents, friends, ex-girlfreind, and Jinny gets drunk at the party and ruins it for him and then the next day he confronts her about it, and she is really mad and tells him her whole story basically, how her mother killed herself, etc...and then at the end of that eppy they...ahem...do it...LOL, and she writes him a note then leaves and goes to a bar and gets drunk while he's asleep at her place after they'd...done it...ahem...LOL, then several eps later, in the ep Redemption, Teddy asks her to go away for the weekend with her, and she gets the courage up to go with him and is about to tell him yes when he tells her that he can't make it that weekend cause he has an important case, and she takes it the wrong way, thinking he's trying to get out of being with her, so at the very end of the ep, we see her at a bar kissing some other guy, and Teddy walks in, looks around for her and sees her kissing the other guy, is obviusly hurt and just walks out, and we are left assuming they broke up...

There, they story of Teddy and Jinny. :D

Hey Jeanie. Yes I remember Luke and Laura very well. I'm 35 so I was in I believe Jr High when they were so hot. I lived for General Hosptial in those days. They did have great chemistry. Awww, I hope Teddy does come back!!!!

That ep was called, "Faces in the Crowd". Where the stupid...guy takes a shot at Jinny and misses...she was scared to death there! poor thing!

I have seen every Jinny and Teddy episode, yet I just read Miranda's in depth description of it because that is how much I enjoy all the scenes with them.
I agree with everyone who has posted on this matter. Jinny and Teddy are great together. The chemistry Nancy and Jay have on screen together is enough to capture your attention. I loved watching all the scenes with them last year. I can gaurantee you'll love watching them act together, Eva;)
I honestly hope this episode rekindles the flames instead of putting them out indefinetly...

I know what you mean I love Jinny and Teddy and I woul lov for them to get back together. At the end of the last episode (redemption) I was shutting NO TEDDY DON"T GO. I was dissapointed that he never came back for any of the remaining episodes. Let's see what happens when Jinny and Teddy come face to face again .

Yep! I don't know what will happen between the two of them, or the emotions that will be displayed on screen, but I myself will be smiling so big:Dand luaghing for joy:lol: while holding my breath until my eyes roll back in my head:rolleyes: The excitement will be overwhelming on my end of the TV!
