A New Girl is coming to get ya. No, not Zooey Deschanel, but Max Greenfield, the hottie who plays Schmidt on the hit Fox comedy.
Oh?
"I want Ray Romano to play my dad because he's the best," Greenfield told me recently. "He's my hero. He's as good as it gets."
How so?
"He can do comedy and he can do drama," Greenfield said. "I think he's very real. I just like his style. Everybody Loves Raymond was the best show ever. I loved Men of a Certain Age."
And since I had Mr. Greenfield's attention, it so wouldn't have been right not to have asked about his body. As New Girl fans know, Greenfield Schmidt is frequently shirtless on the show.
"I don't like to diet," he admitted. "But it's just real clean. I do the Paleo Diet—no sugar, no dairy, but it's a lot of meat. I can do it for about 10 days but then I have a meltdown."
