View Full Version : Do You Think 'Hot In Cleveland' Could Survive on A Major Network? Brian Damage 11-27-2011, 10:02 PM Would this show still be considered a hit if on say NBC, CBS, FOX Or ABC? Would it even get the go ahead? Coffeecup 11-27-2011, 10:42 PM I don't think it would get the repeated airplay on a major network. TV land has done a great job of showing it. Hopefully the viewers like it. Schmoopie 11-28-2011, 01:53 AM I wish we had TV Land so that I could watch HIC instead of having to wait for the DVD's to come from Netflix. But I think it's better that it's on a cable station. Just wish it was one of the stations that I can actually GET! Sigh.... Leigh Ann 11-28-2011, 10:08 AM I don't think it would've survived on NBC, but I think Frasier was on NBC, so maybe it would've lasted a few seasons...But nothing lasts on NBC it seems. But with it on TV Land, it'll probably last much longer! At least hopefully it does! :) Family Ties Forever! 11-29-2011, 11:34 PM I wish we had TV Land so that I could watch HIC instead of having to wait for the DVD's to come from Netflix. You can watch episodes of HIC on TV Land's website the day after it airs each week. Coffeecup 11-30-2011, 10:42 AM I think tonight is the season opener. I must remember to either see it or to tape it. ShamelessFanGirl 12-01-2011, 01:14 PM Honesty, I don't think that it would because chances are if they did put it on NBC and put it on at the same time as program like Survivor on CBS, if a person had to choose I think most people would go with Survivor because it is a reality show and focus on real-life situations where as Hot In Cleveland is not and focuses on a fictional characters in fictional situations, and can be watched in re-reuns where as Survivor can't. Once you missed something, you missed it there is no going back. Anyway, that's my two cents on the matters. |
