I've got very little to do, and most of it involves gift cards and online stuff.

The past few years, we've kept our gift giving to a minimum, we just get tired of all the commercialism overkill. I shop throughout the year, if I should just happen to see something, I get it, so as to not have to deal with the dolts at the end of the year. So I am just about done.

Yes, and I'm very close to being done.

Yes. Getting gifts for some people is more fun than others. :)

I'm trying to decide what to get my brother and his family. I might get them all one gift. The one from last year is probably still laying around somewhere unused. It was a nice gift, imo. Last year I got them a Navy scrapbook that had the Navy logo embossed on it to put together as a family while my brother [at the time was on deployment].
This month is also my sister-in-law's birthday. I think in her case [birthday] a card will suffice.

I bought a few small things tonight for people but most of my shopping will be done online.

Just only a couple of things...

I'll just be giving those coupon booklets to my family this year...I just don't know what to really give 'em.

Last year, I gave them this...

I got my [unofficial] niece some presents today and I'll get my girlfriend a few things in the next week or so. My only wish would be to have a son or daughter to buy gifts for but not this year. :(

I got my [unofficial] niece some presents today.

Unofficial? Does that mean she's like a niece to you, but not related?

She's the daughter of my girlfriend's brother. She calls me uncle Charles and even though I like to think of her as my niece, it won't be official until we get married.

no, not yet. I don't have very much to buy, since our family has agreed not to give gifts to the immediate family (we still have our family pollyanna, though) because my parents and mother-in-law are in their 80s, all the adults are in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, and the nieces and nephews are all in high school or college now.

Not yet I really can't afford to Christmas shop this year. A friend of mine gave me money for my bday last month, so I may buy with what I have.

Oh yeah. If I'm not able to save any money in other months, I sure won't now in December. I really enjoy shopping though (my mother even thinks I'm a shopaholic :(), especially for Christmas.

OH Nuts!

I'm gonna do my shopping on December 17th but that's gonna be the last time i do my shopping at the last minute because i don't like shopping with large crowds and i'm sure it's gonna be snowing that day.

I just got to get a popcorn barrel for someone.

I saw those at Walmart for $8. I think that's nuts for a small container of popcorn.

No, I was just commenting that I happened to see the popcorn barrels there and I thought they were expensive.

Good! I have a little ways to go yet. Hope your friend likes their popcorn barrel. Sounds like a cool gift. :)

I did most of my CHRISTmas Shopping this past May, when I was on a Mission Trip with my Church in Brazil. We stopped at a Craft Shop and I went to town on the Handicrafts and Jewelry sold there. :)

I have connections with the Man "Up North" :santa: and he's already given me his orders for next CHRISTmas. In May of 2012 I will be going on a weekend trip to Alburquerque, New Maxico to check out Cliff's Amusement Park and view the Solar Eclipse that will pass through the Town on May 20. There are several Indian Reservations nearby, and I'm sure at least one of them has a Craft Shop. So if you live on a Reservation near there and run a Craft Shop, and you see a car pull up blaring out Bob River's Not-So-Silent Night :D SMILE :D you are about to make MONEY!
