Hello there!
I am new here, but I loved UM back in the day when I was a kid. I grew up watching Robert Stack do the show and I wondered if someone could help me with some info.

There is an episode that sticks in my head, about a man who was held in a prison unfairly (I think it was overseas) and he would hear strange things in an empty room, like a child laughing and taunting him, and other strange psychological torture. He eventually came back to America, and recieved phone calls from the same child's voice with the same laughter. Red words were painted on his house, and his children were harrassed. I think one was assaulted in the woods, and there was no explination given. It was SCARY and I am trying to recollect more. Does this ring any bells for anyone? Please let me know. I would love to know what case this is so I can read more about it.
THANKS!

I think you are talking about the "l'enfant" case. There are several older threads about this case. Just use the search feature :). I cannot imagine the torture this man went through, but I believe the harassement has stopped or has been greatly reduced.
