To Archie's dismay, Stephanie is allowed to audition for a performing arts high school. Archie desperately tries to stop her, because he's afraid that she's good enough to get accepted. And if that happens, Archie feels that she'll live the miserable life that actresses live.

At the end of the prior season there was an episode where Stephanie was really excited because she had just made the cheerleading squad at her school. Remember Uncle Archie "cheer, cheer, cheer, how about a beer". That's why this episode is so puzzling, why would she be so eager to give that up to go to a different school? Also in the episode Custody, Stephanie mentioned not wanting to go live with her grandmother because she had traveled enough with her deadbeat father and she liked her school/ friends. This fact seemed to be forgotten here when she was trying to change schools.

It felt like they were stretching for an excuse to have lovely Danielle Brisebois sing. It was charming when she was younger how they found ways for her to sing at the Bar. But by this point, it had run it's course. A 14 year old girl singing Sinatra songs wasn't believable and quite frankly wasn't that entertaining anymore. The title of this episode should have been We Don't Know What To Do With Stephanie.

Still a fairly good episode overall, even with the pointless premise.
