it's not a cable or digital channel?

It's a local channel for people in the North Jersey and New York area and I'm trying to figure out why is their scheduled when most posters don't have the channel?

Last I heard, WPIX was still available nationwide to those with satellite dishes.

It might be a local, but it's in a major market, and I'm sure a lot of the blog's viewers, such as myself, are from the east coast...

Of course you feel that way because you live in NYC. Please don't come to me with stupid talk,

So should the blog post the schedule of local chicago and la channels because it's a major market? See how stupid you sound? And the last time I checked the eastcoast wasn't just NYC. People in PA and further south don't get WPIX

Where do you see the "programming schedule" for WPIX on the blog? Get your facts correct (change your name please, TVFactFan does NOT suit you). We mention The Odd Couple marathon because it is a classic sitcom marathon. We have done the same in the past for other markets as well like LA, Chicago and even Philly, Solomon. Sitcom marathons are rare on broadcast, they should be acknowledged. And WPIX is also available nationwide. NYC is the top market, of course we would cover them.

Stop complaining for every little reason. Get out of Philly if you hate it to much.

What philly channel have you mentioned on the blog??

And i'm not just speaking for me I speaking for all tv fans who don't live in the NYC area who maybe a fan of the Odd Couple and can't see the marathon. And since when has WPIX become nationwide??? Do you want me to start a thread asking who has the channel? The only NY channel that used to be available in this area was WWOR but that was way back in 89.

All of the NY channels are available on Dish Network. NYC is the #1 market!

And we have mentioned Philly in the past, such as WPHL's Three's Company marathon, the Get Smart marathon on WPSG, etc. So just because you don't get it, doesn't mean others aren't appreciative. So don't give me we didn't do anything Philly unless you have proof. These are SPECIAL programming events (not the daily programming schedule wording that you accused us of), and we want fans to know, what is the big deal? The is SitcomsOnline not SitcomsOnlyNationallyOnline. There are people out there that appreciate it and didn't know about these events.

Is there a reason to be so rude and disrespectful? I said nothing to hurt the almighty 'TVFactFan', did I?

And Pavan is right. There have been countless blog posts about other major markets such as Chicago and LA. I remember this because those are usually the only days I don't check out the blog! Don't ask people a question, and then insult them for their answers. That just makes you a imbecile!

I believe WPIX is identified as a Superstation. Im not sure of this. I think I remember seeing that info. on Wikipedia so take it for what its worth. Btw, I used to have WPIX here in CT. but I lost the channel about 7 or 8 yrs. ago. I dont know why because I miss The Odd Couple and The Honeymooners.

Indeed WPIX is a Superstation. They are:

WPIX New York
WWOR New York (Secaucus)
KTLA Los Angeles
WSBK Boston
KWGN Denver

WGN Chicago **was** a Superstation, but now that they have split the national and local feeds, I do not believe it is not any more.

I'm new to this forum but I don't think I've ever seen a forum poster as rude as the suspended guy that thinks he knows everything...LOL!

WPIX has been a SuperStation for years, at LEAST as far back as the early-90s. If you're going to act like you know everything, it would help to at least do a little research first...!

Oh I'm not worried about it in the least, it's actually pretty amusing to see someone that actually knows so little about a specific topic pretend to be an "expert" at it...! ;)

it's got to be pretty exhausting to be that angry all the time.
