Well, whatever cartoons you are watching seem to have had a negative affect on your ability to spell!

Today would be the day when people from Baby Boomers to Gen Y would see SatAM Cartoons, Cartoon Specials, and Cartoon Movies.

But since the days of SatAM are over...I decided to reenact the whole damn thing!

1st-"Tiny Toons" and "Animaniacs", I watched the episode "Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow" and "Turkey Jerkey/Wild Blue Yonder"...Respectful...Lee!

2nd-"The Three Caballeros" (I'm watching it now as I type this), a 1945 film featuring Donald Duck and Carmen Miranda's sister Aurora. And featuring Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles, this was one of the first films to have Live Action and Animation...it's also made during "Anchors Aweigh". If this film was made in 1965...it may have been a treat to many because the film is so damn colorful and psychedelic!

3rd-Tom and Jerry...The Chuck Jones Years. This is my 2nd Favorite installment of the Tom and Jerry era. Too bad Chuck Jones NEVER got recognition with these cartoons.

4th-"A Boy Named Charlie Brown" which is the 1st Feature film for our favorite Block-Head and all I can say is a VERY great debut for him!

5th-Some SatAM Cartoons such as "Garfield and Friends", Woody Woodpecker, Loopy de Loop, and a few cartoons from a SatAM Disc I got once for Christmas which features cartoons from the 60's. That may kill some time!

6th-Though NOT a cartoon...this is perfect for an ending of watching cartoons..."The Wiz" featuring Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, and Richard Pryor. Though not fared in 1978, I myself like the film. It has a great musical number which was all done by Quincy Jones and choreography as well, it's just a good film...especially the death scene of Evileve where she gets flushed down the toilet and everyone is dancing in their underwear! (Don't ask)! I do like the 1939 film "The Wizard of OZ", but I feel only "The Wiz" did The Wizard of OZ just fine.

After all that, I'm going to play "Sonic the Hedgehog" while listening to my favorite songs as well as having Salads that I made for lunch and dinner.

:lol: Those cartoons are a riot, especially the Norman Rockwell one. I love Granny with the butt hanging out of her mouth and her shirt hanging low. I also love the dogs talking while they're eating the turkey, saying it's worth a few whacks in the nose with a newspaper, lol. Funny stuff. Thanks for posting, Joe.

Span Bob? I believe you meant 'Sponge' Bob. I have to agree with you there. My sis loves Sponge Bob, I just don't get it. The bf likes Johnny Test, another cartoon I just don't get. I only watch one current cartoon show - Family Guy. For some reason, I can't get into any current cartoons like American Dad, The Cleveland Show, Futurama. Call me old school because I still enjoy watching Looney Tunes!!!
