Even though his cartoon self perished in the last episode he was featured in on Family Guy, James Woods says he will live again to tickle people’s funny bones in the animated TV series.
Woods, a native of Rhode Island, has played himself five times since 2005 in the popular Fox TV show that features the dysfunctional family of Peter Griffin in Quahog, R.I. He died in the 2010 episode And Then There Were Fewer — a spoof of murder mysteries in old dark houses — but, hey, this is a cartoon.
“I can’t spill the beans, bit I am still on the payroll,” Woods, 64, said in an interview Friday night at Carmen’s Banquet Centre, where he was appearing at a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
