Does anyone know any of the actual locations where they filmed this show? The only place listed in the IMDB is the name of a studio. I suppose that studio is where most of the indoor scenes were shot. I've even seen an episode where they visit a studio on the first season.

But I'm wondering if someone familiar with the Los Angeles area (I'm assuming the location) knows where some of the outdoor scenes took place. There are many shots at a park. A kiddie amusement park. A zoo with a Japanese garden. A ski slope. Etc.

Well, I found one location. In the episode where Eddie thinks that he has lost his library book and visits the police station, it shows the name of the station. It's in Culver City, which the map shows as being in west Los Angeles county, just south of Beverly Hills it looks like.

we shot all over LA. we went to palm springs, acapulco, ventura county beaches, and all over southern california at times. they would strap a camera on bill's MG, and we would just drive until the film ran out.
the japanese garden was in anaheim, i believe, the japanese deer park, and right by knotts berry farm, where we shot, too.
there used to be a small amusement park where the beverly center is now, and we shot there a lot, too.
MGM had back lot's where we did a lot of the scenes where bill and i were fishing or in a boat.
so there ya go, the locations of COEF, and of course stage 22 on the MGM lot in culver city.
