I was watching a tv episode [Becker] the other day and there was a debate referring to days of the week.

If it is Friday and you are referring to Tuesday of the same week wouldn't that be this Tuesday? Last Tuesday would be the Tuesday of the week before.

Also, if it is Wednesday and you are referring to Friday of the same week wouldn't that be this Friday? Next Friday would be the following week.

To me this Tuesday would be next Tuesday seeing as Tuesday had already passed. Although I would refer to it as next Tuesday not this Tuesday.If it were Monday I would say this Tuesday.Does this make sense?:crazy:

I usually say "this coming Tuesday" or " last Tuesday"...makes things clearer. :)
