I like that lifetime shows them but I can't wait until they start showing some new stories anyone know when that might happen?

There's been speculation that there may not be new episodes at all. Time will tell though!

That would be so awesome, but I have little hope. I will never tire of watching the old episodes. I remember watching them back when I was 5 years old! And I am still watching them now, 20 years later! but new episodes are always welcome!

My guess is that if they do in fact produce new episodes, they most likely won't air until at least Fall 2012.

While I have my reservations about seeing new episodes, Lifetime has been showing the reruns a lot. It seems to be doing well on their schedule again, which is always exciting. Hopefully they will produce some new segments.

The actual Unsolved Mysteries website unsolved.com for a short time had an email address to send new story ideas to. It never actually stated that new episodes were coming - this is just what we surmised. As far as we know, nothing has been officially announced.

They could have enough stories to look into and for all we know they are starting production, but don't hold your breath
