Exclusive: "Law & Order: SVU" Casts Detective Amaro's Estranged Wife

"The Playboy Club" alum Laura Benanti has been cast as Detective Nick Amaro's wife Leanne on "Law and Order: SVU", TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Benanti joins the show when her character returns from overseas and she and Amaro (Danny Pino) must figure out where their relationship stands.

Benanti will have a three-episode arc. Her first episode, "Spiraling Down," will air in December.
