Now on for my Veterans Day skit:

(Ralph & Ed are watching the Veterans Day Parade in NY.)

Ralph: “Gee Norton, we should be proud of these veterans whether they are old or young.”

Ed: “That’s so true Ralph. They fought with their lives to protect our country.”

Ralph: “I wonder if we are going to see those NAVY Seals. You know, the people who shot and killed that DIRTY BUM Osama Bin Laden.”

Ed: “I hope we do Ralph. I remember all of us at the pool hall toasting those NAVY Seals when we heard the news last May.”

Ralph: “There are those NAVY Seals now.”

(They wave.)

Ed: “Look at those World War II veterans. They got to be in their 90s. It is good for them that they are still alive.”

Ralph: “I couldn’t agree with you more Norton. Also, when I think of all of those troops in Iraq finally coming home for good before the holidays, we should all be grateful to them no matter if people were against the war or not.”

Ed: “That is true Ralph. I just hope that those BUM terrorists don’t retaliate by attaching us.”

Ralph: “I hope not either Norton. But, something tells me that those troops taught those LOUSY BUM terrorists a lesson. That lesson is: ‘Don’t mess with the good ‘ol USA.’”

(Audience cheers.)

(They both sing “God Bless America.” After that, everyone cheers.)

(Jackie Gleason comes on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: “Thank you. How sweet it is! God bless America!”

(Audience cheers.)

Jackie: “The Miami Beach audiences are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!”
