View Full Version : SET THOSE CLOCKS BACK tiredmike59 11-06-2011, 12:33 AM I hate re-setting all the clocks in my house every year, gets to be a real pain. old grouch 11-06-2011, 09:50 AM I know. I have quite a collection of clocks and it takes forever to set them all. Janice 11-06-2011, 12:24 PM I know. I have quite a collection of clocks and it takes forever to set them all. Does it ever. Nightstand clocks in the bedroom. Microwave, stove, grandfather clock, kitty clock hanging in the bathroom, other decorative clocks, so many watches, car clocks, on and on. :) catlover79 11-06-2011, 04:09 PM Thankfully, my computer, cell phone and alarm clock all automatically change over. All I did was re-set the clocks on the stove, microwave and car. Brad Russ 11-06-2011, 11:10 PM Thanks for the reminder!! i forgot to do that. treky 11-07-2011, 12:30 AM thankfully, I just have to reset my watch, my clock radio and the one on the microwave. The ones on my computer and cell phone change automatticly. Schmoopie 11-07-2011, 02:08 AM I think it's weird that Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time but it is a pain having to readjust twice a year just for more daylight. But I guess it's worth it when it stays light around here till 10pm in mid July! LUNCH 11-07-2011, 02:02 PM As far as I know Hawaii does not change the clocks either. So Arizona and Hawaii are the only 2 states that are smart in this area. There's really no reason for changing the clocks twice a year and they should have gotten rid of it along time ago. OH Nuts! 11-07-2011, 05:03 PM It can be a pain, but we gain an hour which is nice. :) Losing an hour in the spring is harder, imo. I agree - but when spring comes- ugh! It takes me a week to get used to losing that hour. Penny Lane 11-08-2011, 03:24 PM . |
