Did you like him? Hate Him? Didn't care one way or the other?

I love Bulldog! I think he's hilarious and I loved his episodes with Roz. I was so disappointed that they never really became a couple on the show. I admit that he annoyed me to no end when I first started watching the show but now he's my second favorite character-Second only to Niles... and that's saying a lot! I always feel a bit of excitement when I see Bulldog on screen because toward the end they just kind of forgot about him, which is such a shame because he's an awesome character!

I agree w/ everything you said, Andrea! Well, Bulldog's not really my fave character, but he did grow on me. :) And the writers def. did forget about him. Every time I watch "Goodnight, Seattle," I think about how he should have been in the final scene at Nervosa w/ Gil, Noel, etc.

I like to think Roz and Bulldog would've at least stayed friends, if not become something more after the series. Esp. w/ Frasier gone, I'm sure Roz would be lonely. And I also think he would've been like a dad to Alice. It would've been nice to see some of that, too.

He seemed to have been a series regular in the beginning of the series, then dropped to recurring, then dropped altogether...what happened???

He never really grew on me. I guess he was a bit too obnoxious for me. I always liked seeing Gil appear though, loved hearing him talk. :)

Exactly! I still don't get that because at first they had entire episodes involving around him like "Love Bites Dog" and then he was gone. Well it was their loss, IMO. He was definitely missed!

I like Bulldog. At first he seemed too loud, obnoxious, whatever, but that's how he's supposed to be! And I love when he takes care of Alice in "The Dog that Rocks the Cradle." It was nice to see another side of him, however briefly! It would've been nice if Roz & Bulldog got together, but they definitely would've stayed friends, even when Bulldog's show was pulled. And I do find myself wanting to say "This stinks, this is total BS" when something bad happens! Oh, and I always imagine that Roz would've gotten Bulldog back on KACL once she took over the station.

I loved how Bulldog was the very antithesis of Frasier! Macho, athletic, loud, aggressive....

I also loved the episode where he had been babysitting Alice and during the course of his babyditting gigs, was running off all of Roz's dates! Then, when he told Roz he loved her, to let him down easy, she acted like she thought he was joking with her and thus, gave him a chance to "save face". I felt sorry for him actually.:(

I love it when he can't find something and freaks out!

*yells* "WHERE is my hat!!! This is BULL!!!
*normal voice* Oh....nevermind. Here it is."

Honestly, Bulldog was kind of everything I hate about my own sex wrapped up into one character. He used women, slept around, grunted like a pig, tried to use aggression rather than intelligence to get by in life, and basically seemed like a barely evolved gorilla. I can't imagine being in a room with him for over a minute and not wanting to hit him in the face. Hard.

No offense to his fans. Everybody likes different things in different people.

I liked Bulldog they did develope his character then he disappeared. He fit in perfectly they needed a sports show since it was radio.
