Go to unsolved.com and you'll no longer see the red text up top looking for new case suggestions.

The optimist in me thinks that in some way, shape, or form Unsolved Mysteries will return, although it may not be for a couple of years. I see them eventually "rebooting" the show down the road.

One has to wonder if there were any legitimate plans to produce new episodes in the first place. Since the email address was from a G-mail account, someone on this forum expressed some suspicion about it.

Maybe they rec'd quite enough case ideas for a new show and decided to close submissions! I guess we'll have to wait and see...

I hope there are new episodes in the pipeline, too. I did see a promo for "America's Most Wanted" coming in December and I hope that show does not displace UM on Lifetime.
