They didn't have a real finale because they were trying to set up a spinoff for Schneider. So the actual last episode did not involve Ann or her daughters. The ratings for the last show with Ann was low and that's why CBS saw no point in trying the spinoff with Scheinder

I myself do remember watching ODAAT on CBS and I remember loving it. Now, I am not so sure it still holds up.
