Stephanie gets a date with a very popular boy, but Billie and Gary have to make it a double-date or Archie won't give permission. The plot was predictable. Stephanie acts like a seductress, the boy wants sex, Stephanie says No, and we all live happily ever after.

Actually I thought it was a more than a little creepy seeing Stephanie (13 year old Danielle Brisebois) with Danny Ferguson (Brian Robbins, who was almost 19, just a few months younger than Denise Miller). He should have been Billie's date!

I wonder if the Producers realized this as well thus Steph and Danny never did more than a little flirting.

A storyline flaw was when Gary asks about skates and the girls respond 'we rent them'. Why would they rent skates when they already have their own as you can see in another episode.
