According to this site, I have already posted a thread titled "All in the Family". However, I have no memory of what page it was on or what it was about! In any event, my last post on this page was six days ago. Because of how fruitless my efforts have been and because of how much I have beaten everything that I can think of into the ground, I decided to lay low for a while. I would periodically come back and see that there was nothing new! However, at this point, I feel that I just cannot give up on trying to stimulate some conversation! Because of this, I am going to try yet another commemoration post and see what becomes of it! A while back, I posted a thread called "My Body Guard". That, in itself was a commemoration thread. In any event, that thread now has forty views and zero replies. I would like to commemorate this reality by mentioning that forty years ago, "All in the Family" made its debut! Is anyone here a fan of this series? I liked it a lot! One way that it was very similar to "Gimme a Break!" is that they were both very heavy-handed. As I am sure that a lot of you know, "All in the Family" really paved the way for a lot of media that dealt with such issues as racism, sexism and ageism. I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who has anything to add to this topic!
