I was always a fan of Mr. Convy's hosting style. I think he was very under appreciated as a game show host.

I thought he was a really good host. I don't know about him being underrated though.

I liked him, in general. He made a really good villain in some 70's TV shows, too.

I guess what I mean is, when you think of all the great game show hosts you think of people like Bob Barker, Wink Martindale or even Gene Rayburn. Burt Convy hardly ever gets mentioned....

Bert Convy was born to be a game show host--he was awesome!!

to me, Bert Convy was an outstanding host, especially on Tattletales, where he added humor to the proceedings and didn't overpower the game. He also did a great job hosting Super Password, following in the legacy of Allen Ludden.

He was a good game show host. And I don't think he was underrated because he's one of the first hosts I think of when I hear the phrase "game show". Now and then I thought his sense of humor was kind of cheesy but besides that I enjoyed him and he seemed like a very likable and friendly person.
