Ok, heres something I dont know if we covered in the past, but which season was your favorite? I have not seen all the shows or anything, although I do like most of the earlier shows a little bit more that the later ones. I guess I will just go with season one, because Alex was so CUTE in that first season! I also like the first seasons the most normally in other shows too! It is neat to see when the show first started! So, what do all of you think?

I think it's a tie between season 1 and 4. I like season 1 because Alex was really cute, but I also like season 4 because Ellen is one of my favorite characters.

I say season one, 'cause Alex is so cute I couldn't say otherwise. :eyes:

OK, looks like we all aggree that seasons 1 and 4 are the best! Can't wait for the series to start over again! They are commin near the end, finally!:crazy:

Season 2.

NOT an easy decision, but I agree that the first and the fourth seasons were the best.

My favorite episodes were spaced out so I like all of the seasons (I guess I should have picked all were equal) but I went with season 4 because I loved the Alex and Ellen relationship.

I would have to say that season three was the best - it included the hilarious birth of Andrew!!!

How can any other season top that? Though they were all great!

Season 4 is my favourite! It had the Alex and Ellen relationship which added alot to the show. :D

After that my favourites are (in order) season 1, season 3, season 2, season 6, season 5 and season 7. I love them all!

My very favorites are season 1 and 2.. they're all so young and fresh in the first season, and I love the hippie opening credits :cool: And season 2 has some of my best episodes, such as Alex's birthday party and Alex and Mallory in Princenton.
Then I'd say season 4, because of Ellen and Nick. They were great characters, who gave Alex and Mallory new dimensions. :)

I originally only bought the Season 5 dvds - mainly cos I was looking for good sitcoms during the 86-87 era. I then decided to get another season - it was a toss up between S4 and S6, but in the end I bought Season 6. I know Season 4 was voted most popular, but I wanted to get a season which had a more late 80s vibe. I also always remember Tina Yothers with big 80s hair, so that must've been the Family Ties era I watched most.

Season 1 is my all time favorite.

I like the 4th season the best. I think by season four the writers had really gotten a grasp of the characters and they really came alive during that season. I also like the relationship between Alex and Ellen as well. Really though, Family Ties had no bad seasons. Each season was good.

I voted can't decide. Because I am just now watching on Antenna after not seeing it for so many years! I think the last time I watched was first run! I don't think I've ever seen this in reruns! I'm really enjoying it.

I will say that Steven became a total hotty in season2 when he grew his beard!! That man ROCKS the beard!!!
