I got the script today and here is a scene....


JINNY and MAGDA on the scene with a UNIFORM as - -

UNIFORM
Looks like a jumper. Building Manager says his name is Kenny Parrish. Lived on the seventh floor. No witnesses.

BUILDING MANAGER
I heard the crash. Came running out. There he was.

JINNY
Hell of a way to make the headlines

Jinny and Magda walk through the apartment, closely monitored by the Building Manager. Tasteful. Modern art. On a coffee table is the clutter of half-filled glasses and coffee cups. A couple of ashtrays, with cigarette butts.

In one corner, a white sheet has been draped over what looks to be a pile of furniture

JINNY
Looks like our jumper threw himself a little going away party

.....

They step out onto - -

EXT. KENNY'S BALCONY - CONTINUOUS

An over turned chair near the low railing. A small glass-topped table. Another chair.

JINNY
He stepped on it to jump, kicked it over?

MAGDA
Don;t need a chair to make it over this

JINNY
(trying this out)
Whoever pushed him kicked it over

Magda and Jinny notice an ASHTRAY with a few CIGARETTES all stubbed out after only a few drags - - with LIPSTICK stains on the filters. Magd picks one up with a handkerchief.

MAGDA
An angry girlfriend?

JINNY
Angry smoker, maybe

MAGDA
Two most common ways a woman kills - -

JINNY
(she knows)
Poison. Or pushing off a cliff

MAGDA
This works as a cliff

She gives forensics the cigarette
