I noticed Antennatv was airing The Fog this morning and they listed it as the 2005 version,I didn't know there was a re-make. I taped it and found out it is the 1979 version. What's the deal ? Are they going to show the newer one at all ? Has anyone seen the 2005 version ? Is it better than the original ?:confused:

I don't think it's better than the original. It's not horrible(like Prom Night remake horrible). Tom Welling plays the Tom Atkins part, Maggie Grace plays the Jamie Lee Curtis part, Selma Blair plays the Adrienne Barbeau part.

I think it lacks the atmosphere and creepiness of the original.

I know of a lot of people who didn't care for the 2005 remake, but I thought it was alright.
