Hey all! Longtime reader of the boards here, finally decided to start contributing!

A little about me: I've been watching UM since I was pretty young and it never failed to scared the daylights out of me. Like most, my favorite segments are unexplained deaths and missing people. Also the UFOs and ghosts, but to a lesser degree.

I'm intrigued by the majority of the missing person segments, but my "pet" case, so to speak, has always been Jodi Huisentruit. I grew up in a town about half an hour from Mason City, where she was abducted from. I no longer live there, but the case still haunts me and I've been reading about it for years. I wish it could be solved!

That's one of my top cases I'd like to see solved too. I tried looking on Google Earth and stuff to find the apartment complex where she was abducted from but not sure I found the right place. Nancy Grace covered her disappearance back in February and I'm hoping more coverage about her abduction can help crack the case.

Hi there! I just finished the new book about Jodi Huisentruit. Have you read it? What did you think? I learned SO much about the "prime suspect" that UM didn't touch on at ALL. It filled in a lot of blanks for me, and the case no longer looks like it did when it was on UM, at least to me. Her disappearance/death doesn't appear as clueless and out of the blue as it did before.

FYI, the apartment complex was called the Key Apartments, IIRC, back when Jodi was living there. I can check my book in the morning to be sure.

Yup, read the book as soon as it came out :) I thought it was well written, and revealed some things I never knew about before, like how a certain "suspect" has been linked to other missing people/mysterious deaths. Shady indeed....

As far as I know they're still called the Key Apartments. They still were last time I drove by, which was a few years ago. I'll see if I can find some pics online to put in the Location Pictures thread!
