i think they usually just got sodas and i've heard shirley say "that will be ten cents." i think as poor as they were, they could afford ten cent sodas! :lol:

Dwayne's parents had money so he should have had little more. LOL.

High Schoolers always had money for fast food. I remember always having money for Wendy's or Burger King. It was like a priority in our lives back in the day.

What gets me is if you noticed, when ever Shirley delivered food to the boys table, they would always leave the restaurant without even eating the food, they didnt even ask Shirley for a doggie bag. lol

I agree. And when I was a kid, it never dawned on me to wonder where they got the money from.

I said "CREDIT", like running up a tab. NOT credit CARD. Just credit, to be paid in cash at a later date.
