Does anyone recall the case where a man and his girlfriend went to a rodeo and returned home late at night to their mobile home, only for the man's friend or relative to request LE check on him when he couldn't get in contact with him, and he was found dead from a gunshot wound?
I think the theory was they thought the girlfriend might have done it and run off,as she was missing after that, but they weren't sure if perhaps they came home and someone was in the home and shot the man,and abducted his girlfriend.
I recall the man's ex said he could make someone angry in a split second, and she thought the gf did it.I think they were looking for her possibly being a truck driver,as that had been an occupation for her.
any updates on this case? did they ever find the gf or figure out who killed the man? thanks.

this sounds like the case of Larry Costine and Melissa Jo Sermons, and there are other threads here about it.

It is the case of Larry Costine and Melissa Jo Sermons. Here are two links on the case, including one from Doe Network.
