As a kid I remember watching Chico and the Man every Friday Night immediately after my favorite show Sanford and Son on NBC. The show bordered on some stereotypes, but it is was done in a humorous good natured way. That show also featured Scatman Crothers (voice of Hong Kong Phuey). I loved the theme song, which talked about understanding people of diferent cultures.
