Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon tragically died in a fiery 15-car pileup at Las Vegas Speedway.And I've heard,that what with this happening,they may just cancel the Indianapolis 500 Auito Race.It was ,indeed ,a tragedy.Any comments?

Such horrible news and such a handsome young guy. My condolences to his family and friends. I think it's sad that a lot of these well known people who die young I've never heard of until they're gone.

I can't bring myself to watch that video. Ever since my own car crash, seeing tragedies like that on TV literally make me sick. :rip: to Mr. Wheldon and God bless his family. No one should have to go through that. :(

This is eerily similar to the death of Greg Moore in 1999. Greg Moore was from Maple Ridge, British Columbia. (about 35 minutes away from where I live). Greg Moore crashed in the early laps of what was the final race of the 1999 season at the California Speedway in Fontana, California. And like Dan Wheldon, Greg Moore did not survive his injuries. Greg Moore was only 24 years old at the time of his fatal crash. :rip: Greg Moore and :rip: Dan Wheldon. And thoughts and prayers to both of their families.
