That's correct. Also,in a later episode, this time in color,,the late Vinton Hayworth ,before he played not very nice by the book,no nonsense Gen.Schaefer, played ANOTHER no-nonsense ,not very nice either ,General character named General Watson.

...the series' producer and prolific writer, remembered Emmaline from that episode, and wanted to bring her back on a regular basis in season two. So he cast her as "Amanda Bellows", beginning with "The World's Greatest Lover" in December 1966, and she continued through the end of the series. As for Vinton Hayworth, his appearance as "General Watson" in "Jeannie and the Top-Secret Secret" paved the way for him to succeed Barton MacLane after the latter's death. MacLane, in turn, was supposed to have appeared only once as "General Peterson" in "Too Many Tonys". But Sheldon liked his presence- and his "chemistry" with Hayden Rorke- and brought him back several weeks later (in "The Richest Astronaut in the Whole Wide World").
