The program ends with Van Dyke and Moore showing clips from "The Dick Van Dyke Show," including one that was never aired in which Van Dyke reacts to being fired from a movie set by crying like a woman.
Does anybody know which episode this was a part of or if the unaired footage was ever released? I have the complete series on DVD, but don't remember the scene in question.

The footage was referred to as "unaired" because it did not appear as part of the Season 5 episode, "You Ought to Be in Pictures". It was filmed as a joke to show Rob crying about his firing, but it was not included in the actual episode. This footage was aired near the end of "Dick Van Dyke and the Other Woman", as Dick and Mary reminisced about their time together on The Dick Van Dyke Show on a recreation of the office and living room sets. The last part of this show, including the previously unaired footage, was included in the Season 5 DVD.

The scene in question is from the episode "You Ought To Be In Pictures". The scene was actually filmed twice. In the first version Dick delivers his dialogue in character as Rob Petrie. This is the version of the scene that appears in the finished episode. They also filmed a second version in which Dick was crying throughout the scene (much like Mary Tyler Moore often did) just as a gag. That version of the scene can be viewed on Youtube.
