WOW:eek: that's also news to me. No wonder she sounds and acts differently. She talks really slow and I thought something wasn't right, now it makes sense. I thought it was from the fall she took when she was in the wire harness that it had caught up to her.

PENNY MARSHALL’s cancer has returned – and spread to her lungs, sources say.

Sadly, doctors have given the 68-year-old “Laverne & Shirley” star just months to live, according to insiders.


“Penny is finally confirm*ing her battle with cancer only because she wants her fans to read about it in her own words,” a close source told The ENQUIRER.

“What her agent didn’t say is that Penny’s can*cer has returned. Doctors are telling her that it’s Stage 4 and has spread to her lungs – and she may not have more than six months to live.

“Penny is getting chemother*apy treatments at a Los Angeles hospital every other week, and she’s on several medications,” the source revealed.

The Enquirer article appeared today. You have to remember that the National Enquirer came out with the news of Penny's cancer and she denied it.
They have been right all along.

I am just not sure that being optimistic is the word I want to use. Penny already said that some of the treatments themselves have made her sick.
There was pictures of Penny coming out of treatment and she was all bloated. Penny already went through all the treatment and went into remission and the cancer came back. There is an article today in the National Enquirer where they reported that Steve McQueen had terminal cancer and they denied it. Guess what? Steve had terminal cancer.
I don't think Penny is indenial about her cancer as she just admitted it.
The cancer has spread.
All we can do is to wish her peace with everthing.

I caught a glimpse of this on one of the tabloids and thought it was just horrible. I didn't believe it for one second, to be honest; especially when I saw the picture that went with it and the blatant way it was headlined.

Not to sound completely horrible, I absolutely love Penny Marshall and I certainly hope this news isn't true at all; or at least very exaggerated, but if it is true I hope she has a full recovery.

Penny admitted that she lied about not having cancer. Penny was in remission for a while. It doesn't look good since the cancer returned and Penny admitted that the treatments were making her sick.

You don't sound horrible at all. I'm hoping for the best. I was actually stunned when the stories first came out last year that she was battling brain and liver cancer since she's smoked for decades. I at first assumed that it would be lung cancer.
