Neither one of the Top 4 Market teams will be in the WS and now the best possible matchup is St. Louis vs Detroit.

Milwaukee vs Texas will be a STINKER and probably have less viewers than PBS-lol

Someone said that 4 years ago, saying that no one would watch the Indians vs. Rockies in The World Series...

Unfortunately...The Red Sox went all the way that year and that ******* is now laughing to the bank!

Seems that The Cleveland Curse STILL Lives On!ohno:ohno:ohno:

I think I do want to see the Rangers win for this reason

Cliff Lee left them for the Phillies and then the Rangers get back to the WS and win it without him-LOL

That would be a great story, but I am pulling for the Brewers to hopefully win it all!

Me too! I have relatives in Wisconsin so it is a great rivalry! But the Tigers aren't there yet! But I also would have liked to have played the Diamondbacks as manager Kirk Gibson was on the champion '84 Tigers. I had a big crush on him. I was pulling for Kirk!:D

I'll take St. Louis vs. Detroit, or St. Louis vs. Texas. I can't stand the Brewers at all! :livid:

First let me say I don't follow baseball.

However, haven't the World Series ratings been low for a few years now?

A major problem is that the games end too late for the future generations of fans to watch.

11:30pm is late?

Yes, 11:30 pm is late for young kids who have school the next day.

Of course, that is if the game even ends at that time and doesn't go into extra innings or is played in a different time zone.

This is a case where "The Tail Wags The Dog". 2/3 of our Population lives EAST of the Mississippi River, yet we get  :angryfireSHAFTED:angryfire  because the Networks want the West Coast to be in Prime-Time by the time the games starts. I cannot wonder how many Absenses in both School and Workplaces these Games cause in the Eastern and Central Time Zones because People call themselves (or their Kids) "Sick" because they are too tired to go to work and or school the day after a championship game!

There is a good chance for rain during the Cardinals game tonight.
Football players can play in any type of weather, but the baseball babies can only play when it's nice outside. So here we have a domed stadium for football games and an outside stadium for baseball. STUPID:crazy:

How can someone play baseball in pouring down rain? In football they run more when its raining but what would they do in baseball?

What I'm squawking about is that they have a domed stadium for football, where they don't need one, and an outside stadium for baseball. Don't you think it should be the other way around ?
