Someone posted a recent interview with Lynn Borden who played Barbara Baxter. She still sounds the same. She talks about her career including Hazel. You can listen to it here

I listened to the Lynn Borden interview up until she was finished talking about being on Hazel. I found it interesting that she said that Shirley Booth "wanted to change the characters" and that is why she and Ray Fulmer were brought in.

In past discussions I always thought it was because of the network affiliate change and contractual reasons not just because Shirley wanted a change.

...when his contract (along with Whitney's Blake's) ended after the 1964-'65 season, he simply wasn't asked to return when the series moved to CBS in the fall of 1965. This is why Hazel and Harold Baxter "moved across town" to live with George's brother's family, after he and Dorothy moved to the "Middle East" because of his "extended assignment" there. They just never returned...
