Fox's "New Girl" is the highest-rated new comedy of the Fall TV season.
For the "adorkable" Zooey Deschanel, the transition from movies to TV has been seamless. In an interview with "Good Day LA" she explained why.
"I think of it as a little movie. It's more like every week we're making a little movie. Our comedy is all about building on the characters and it's not about jokes, it's about characters being thrown into situations."
When asked about her sibling rivalry with "Bones'" Emily Deschanel she said:
"There is no rivalry. She's drama, I'm comedy, so we're split among the genre lines. She just had a baby last week.. er two weeks ago.
Growing up, she's two years older, so she was very protective and sort of motherly."
When asked when her baby's coming she went, "errr... umm" and laughed.
