(Ralph comes home.)

Ralph: "What a dissapointing game Alice. This is like what happened five years ago."

Alice: "Ralph, there is always tomorrow."

Ralph: "You're right Alice. But, if the Yankees lose tomorrow, as far as Joe Giradi goes, bang! Zoom! I just watched that game from the pool room with Ed. He should be up here soon."

(Ed comes up.)

Ed: "Ralph, this has been a dark, dark day."

Ralph: "How could those Tigers do this?"

Ed: "You know something? We should do something to the Tigers that would make them lose. I know how to do it."

Ralph: "Oh yeah? What is it Norton? I am dying to hear it."

Ed: "This method will work. It works everytime when I play volleyball with the guys in the sewer. We are in the pool so we can get in our element. He he he."

Ralph: "What is it?"

Ed: "This will work. Everytime the Tigers come to bat, we all yell: 'Jinx! Jinx! Jinx!"

(Ralph has an upset look on his face.)

Ralph (yells): "GET OUT! GET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!"

(Ed leaves.)

Ralph: "'We all yell: ''Jinx! Jinx! Jinx!''"

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "As usual, the Miami Beach audiences are the GREATEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
