 Hi. I can't find this on the internet so I'll ask here...notice at the start of a show, in the corner, you might see some faint wording like #2brokegirls or # followed by the name of the show...does this mean something? Is this a keyword or enter the #(tvshowtitlenospaces) on our phones or something?
Thanks

I think it's a code for Twitter.

Yeah, it's a twitter thing called "hashtags." Basically, you search for it on twitter if you want to see what people are saying about a show, or tag your own tweets with the hashtag if you're tweeting about the show.

Hi guys - thanks for the replies. Yes, I can see now this is a Twitter thing. It seems many shows this fall season have these on-screen-tags.

That is called a hashtag and it is to give people the address for people to look up a shows twitter page. On twitter you use hashtags to connect to official pages.

Yes, I was wondering the same thing myself. Is it called Twitter because only twits use it?
