I actually hated it when it 1st happened because her character was too combative towards Henry Rush. I really don't think audiences liked Audrey in this role because her stint wasn't very long...

Big3sCompanyFan 01-06-2012, 11:56 PM But she played Muriel's mom in so many episodes. Never got the impression the producers had any problem with her. I think it's implied that the VIEWERS had a problem with her. Not me. Not only do I adore her as an actress, she added a dynamic of hierarchy to the show. Henry was the family authority who put everyone in check, SHE was the one who put HENRY in check and had no qualms standing toe to toe with him and I loved that lol. Though I will admit, there were times where the insult exchange ran on a little TOO long, there were brief moments of endearment that balanced it out...perhaps their interaction could've used a little more. If she added all these elements to the show then what's the problem?? I never got the sense the viewers had any problem with her except she did go too far sometimes in insulting Henry. LadySparta 01-09-2012, 11:59 AM Whoops. Nothing implies after all, but stated. This is from the 1st comment: I really don't think audiences liked Audrey in this role because her stint wasn't very long... As far as insults go, she gave as good as she got, that sassy little pistol lol. But there were times they'd occasionally compliment each other or hold a temporary truce, you all seem to forget those parts... |
