View Full Version : Is It Me Or Has Lisa Loring Grown to Look A LOT Like Her TV Mom Carolyn Jones?
Brian Damage 10-01-2011, 01:31 AM It's creepy.....and kooky ;)

dakert 10-01-2011, 01:56 AM Lisa Loring was drop dead gorgeous as Cricket on "As The World Turns" 30 years ago
old grouch 10-01-2011, 09:03 AM Yes, there is quite a resemblance.
Retro4Life 10-01-2011, 11:17 AM I see it, too. And yes, she (and Mrs. Jones) were/are drop dead gorgeous.
Marvo301 10-01-2011, 01:13 PM Yes, there is quite a resemblance between these two beautiful ladies!
andress_jade 10-01-2011, 01:47 PM Wow, the resemblance is striking. I can see why they cast her to play Wednesday, she looks just like Carolyn Jones. Just like Erin Murphy looks just like Elizabeth Montgomery, her onscreen mom.
They are both beautiful women; Carolyn and Lisa. We lost Carolyn and Elizabeth way too soon. :(
catlover79 10-01-2011, 06:28 PM It is indeed an uncanny resemblance. If they ever do another Addams Family revival (which is probably inevitable) - I say Lisa should play Morticia!!!!

What a great idea!

great idea indeed, but sadly I think Lisa Loring is so typecast as Wednesday, she couldn't even play her TV Mom. If there ever was a redo of this show, the networks would probably look for the next "It" girl to play Morticia.

Probably right, unfortunately. I think most of the producers involved in these remakes and reboots or whatever aren't very interested in honoring the classic shows, just milking them for their brand names.
We can dream, though, can't we?

Absolutely, that is why I cringe at the thought that NBC is redoing The Munsters as a dramedy.

That thing is going will be buried so deep even the dogs won't be able to find it.

Well, with the recent failure of Charlie's Angels, maybe they'll scrap the idea.

Bryan Fuller, the writer for Pushing Daises and contributor to Heroes, is supposed to be involved in the new Munsters. I'm really shocked that such a supposedly good writer would bother with such an obviously silly concept, but hey, the paycheck must be great.
Frump 10-03-2011, 08:32 PM That is probably ONE reason they picked her for the part, b/c I thought she resembled Morticia back when she was a little girl on the show.
comedyfreak 10-05-2011, 05:29 AM WOW the resemblance is uncanny, maybe they should cast her as Morticia in the new movie.
