I can see why they cast her to play Wednesday, she looks just like Carolyn Jones. Just like Erin Murphy looks just like Elizabeth Montgomery, her onscreen mom. If there ever was a redo of this show, the networks would probably look for the next "It" girl to play Morticia. I think most of the producers involved in these remakes and reboots or whatever aren't very interested in honoring the classic shows, just milking them for their brand names. Bryan Fuller, the writer for Pushing Daises and contributor to Heroes, is supposed to be involved in the new Munsters. I'm really shocked that such a supposedly good writer would bother with such an obviously silly concept, but hey, the paycheck must be great.
