Milton Bradley was busted for felony assault -- after allegedly swinging a baseball bat at his wife yesterday.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ -- Bradley's wife called 911 yesterday around 2pm from their home in Los Angeles -- and told police Milton was chasing her and swinging at her ... batting cage style.
We're told police showed up and took Milton into custody -- and booked him for assault with a deadly weapon. His wife was not injured.
The former outfielder was released from jail last night on $30,000 bail.
33-year-old Bradley was also arrested back in January for another domestic incident.

I occaisionally attend Games played by the Daytona Beach Cubs, which is affiliated with the Chicago Cubs. The Programs they give out show how a player progresses through the ranks from rookie to "The Show" (Major League, in this case the Chicago Cubs. I like to alter the progression so it looks like this:
Arizona Cubs - Peoria Chiefs - Daytona Cubs - Tennessee Smokies - Iowa Cubs -
Chicago Cubs - Jail - License Plates - Chain Gang - "The Chair".

^ I'd like to see Milton Bradley on a chain gang, actually. Someone made this comment on the story:
"I dunno....maybe he think he's got a Monopoly on confrontation. He should be more fun than a Barrel of Monkeys, but instead seems to live a life of Aggravation. His Operation game needs a Steady Hand, but at this rate he's gonna lose the Game of Life. He needs to try doing good deeds to earn some Life Tiles."
